Meet our experienced vet Dr. Amanda Budge. Dr. Amanda brings a calm, thoughtful and patient-centred approach to veterinary care, making her a perfect fit for the Taringa Vets team.

After graduating from the University of Glasgow in 2016, Amanda completed an equine internship in the UK before relocating to Brisbane with her husband. She worked in mixed practice for several years, where she discovered her true passion lay in small animal medicine. This led her to undertake a dedicated Small Animal Medicine Internship, further strengthening her clinical expertise.

Since returning to general small animal practice, Amanda has developed a strong interest in small animal medicine and behaviour, with a particular love for helping pets who need gentle handling and a little extra understanding.

Outside of the clinic, Amanda is kept on her toes by her toddler and her two mischievous Schnauzers.
